Water resources management
General Objective:
Comprehensive development of scientific, methodological, and technological foundations for the efficient, safe, and modern management of water resources and water management systems, including forecasting hydrological and environmental processes, strategic planning, monitoring the safety of hydraulic structures, reservoir design, and the implementation of automated digital systems for the control, accounting, and calculation of water resources.
Key Activities:
Development of scientific foundations for forecasting hydrological processes and environmental conditions within the impact zones of irrigated agriculture;
Formulation of national strategies for water resources management;
Development of safety monitoring systems for water management facilities and territories during various emergency situations;
Preparation of design and estimate documentation for the construction of reservoirs;
Development of recommendations for the instrumental analysis of the technical condition of hydraulic structures (HS);
Development and implementation of automated systems for the control, accounting, and management of water resources that meet modern standards for measuring hydrological and hydraulic characteristics, featuring high precision and digital compatibility;
Development and implementation of software for the automatic recalculation and calculation of water discharge based on measured water level data.
