Melioration Monitoring Conducted in the Shardara District under Budget Program 254

From July 2 to July 9, 2026, within the framework of the event 8 BP 254, specialists from the Department of Land Reclamation and Ecology of Irrigated Territories conducted an official business trip to the Shardara District of the Turkistan Region.
During the trip, soil samples were collected from saline lands near the Alatau Batyr rural district, along with water samples from the experimental site for chemical analysis. The lysimeters were charged (filled) with a soil monolith from the experimental site. To study solute transport (salt transport) in the lysimeters, a 40-liter water sample was taken from an irrigation canal located near the experimental site. Additionally, water samples were collected for chemical analysis from the Kyzylkum Main Canal, the collector drain of the Alatau Batyr rural district, the Shardara Reservoir, and the irrigation networks of the Shardara District.
