Republican Field Day

On June 20, 2026, in Karasai District, Almaty Region, a Republican Field Day was held on the topic “Digital Technologies in Agricultural Production Based on Sustainable Development.”
The event was organized by the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing.
From the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Water Economy, the event was attended by Chief Researcher N.N. Balgabаеv and research staff members Zh.I. Minarbekov, T.K. Imanaliev, N. Yegenberdiev, G. Ismailov, and D. Torebek.
During the event, Chief Researcher N.N. Balgabaev delivered a presentation titled “Digitalization of Water Accounting and Water Distribution Processes.” The report addressed issues related to the efficient use of water resources in irrigated agriculture, accurate water accounting, automation of water distribution systems, and the implementation of digital technologies.
