As part of the commercialization of the results of scientific research and scientific and technical work of the Kazakh Research Institute of Water Economy, a grant financing project is being implemented on the topic “Organization and implementation of scientifically based water-saving irrigation technologies” for 2025-2027.

The aim of the project is to bring to the market domestic sprinkler machines developed on the basis of an innovative sprinkler nozzle with improved performance (innovative patent No. 30920), created by scientists of the Institute as part of a scientific and technical program for the rational use of water resources and land reclamation. The project aims to introduce modern water-saving irrigation technologies, reduce the cost of water resources in agriculture and improve the efficiency of irrigated agriculture.

KazSWIRE LLP, ADAM manufacturing LLP and SPACETIME Sole Proprietor are involved in the project implementation.

The Institute provides scientific and consulting support for the developed technology in production. The project provides for the organization of small-scale production of sprinkler machines, product certification, promotion on the domestic market and export to the EAEU countries. The planned production capacity is up to 40 sprinkler units per year. The amount of grant financing for the project is 350 million tenge with additional co-financing from a private partner in the amount of 145 million tenge. The implementation of the project contributes to the development of domestic production of sprinkler machines, the introduction of research results into the real sector of the economy and the strengthening of the scientific and innovative potential of the water industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
